During 16 th days of Pitri-Paksh (Shraadh), the rituals of “Tarpan” is performed for the departed souls “Shraadh Paksh” is one of the most significant time to remember the Ancestors as per Hindu Mythology. During the time of Pitri-Paksh each day is dedicated as “Tithi” (date) of an ancestors. During these 16 th days “Pitri Paksh” (Shraadh) Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust at Haridwar has been making elaborate arrangements for religious discourses and rituals to be reserved at its Bhawan. Pitri Paksh Shraadh of the Ancestores shall be performed at Shree Ganga Ji Ghat, Haridwar by the Trust through learnt Pandits. Those who wish to perform “Pitri Paksh Shraadh” of their late parents, friends, relatives and well wishers, may contact the Trust on 9419662100 (Sh. This membership shall remain effective till existence of the Trust. Members under this scheme will be provided 7 days free one room accommodation, fooding etc at our Haridwar Bhawan in a year commencing from January to December only member and his family will be accommodated under this scheme besides they will also be provided Annual Panchang Calender.
